Atlantic Theater Company: Marketing Intern
OVERVIEW 
Atlantic – an award-winning Off-Broadway theater and NAST-accredited acting school – seeks a Marketing Intern. This position will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Marketing & Membership Manager to manage and execute the production history webpages for Atlantic Theater Company (ATC), and promotional campaigns for Atlantic Acting School (AAS) training and education programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and gather information about show dates, marketing language, press articles, cast and creative team, and production photos for every Atlantic production from 1985-2011 
- Work in WordPress on Atlantic’s website back-end to upload, design, and create new production pages to be published on Atlantic’s newly designed website 
- Assist the Marketing Director and Marketing & Membership Manager in marketing and media campaigns for Atlantic Acting School 
- Assist in the creation and implementation of digital promotional materials for AAS 
- Help to design and produce weekly e-blasts to promote Atlantic’s education programs for adults, kids & teens 
- Help brainstorm social media campaigns for AAS 
- Uphold and promote a cohesive Atlantic brand 
- Take an active role in departmental and company-wide efforts to build innovative 
 marketing and outreach strategies
- Additional duties as needed - REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS 
- Interest in theater/performing arts/education and marketing 
- Exceptionally strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, and a passion for the arts 
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and superior attention to detail 
- A personable, curious, and collaborative work style with a willingness to learn new 
 things
- Proficiency in Excel/Microsoft Office and Google Suites 
- Experience with social media, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite are a plus 
COMPENSATION
- $22.50 per hour 
INTERNS WILL WORK 28 HOURS PER WEEK AND ATTEND A MANDATORY OFFSITE PROGRAM DAY ONE DAY PER WEEK WITH THEIR COHORT.
- Internship Period: June 2 – August 1 
- Total Weeks: 9 weeks 
- Work Hours per Week: 28 
- Total Hours: 252 
- Workdays: 4 days per week onsite (Mondays – Thursdays) 
- Work hours will be 10 AM - 6 PM 
PROGRAM DAY:
- On Fridays, interns will attend an offsite program day with their cohort. 
- These hours are separate from the internship hours.
