Details

The intake specialist intern would work closely with the curator/supervisor and lead intake specialists to develop a project plan, based on the intern’s abilities and interests.

The intake specialist will catalogue and place items within the collection, while being aware of what the institution is doing to eventually provide information for a future exhibit. The intern will receive instruction in proper paper, cloth, metal and art handling.

In addition to the main project, the intern may have opportunities to work on exhibit preparation, redo/improve an existing exhibit, edit our revised guide to the PMA and visit other local museums.
