Duration & Compensation 

  • Internship Duration: June 3 – Aug 4, 2026

  • Compensation: Cleveland - $21/hr.

  • Travel Stipend: $250 

  • Final Separate Inten Stipend: $700 program (given upon completion of program) 

  • Assist with research, documentation, and auction preparation to celebrate artists in our programs and support Art House funding. The intern will also help Teaching Artists and participants in summer programs.

  • Assist with accessioning, photographing, organizing artwork, data entry, art deliveries, loans, and participation in team meetings. 

  • Gain hands-on experience in publication design, festival marketing, and content coordination while contributing to the annual festival program and promotional campaigns. 

  • Organize Studio Go’s mobile art program activities into a single reference file, help with Community Arts Center events, and support art programming for all ages.

  • Create a show image for the Student Theatre Enrichment Program while gaining experience in a non-profit arts organization and assisting with various design projects. 

  • Supports FolukeARTS by assisting with program coordination, marketing and communications, data management, and event operations to help deliver community‑centered arts programming.

  • Support the Executive/Artistic Director and Managing Director with video documentation, editing, photography, and website updates to enhance marketing efforts. 

  • Capture, organize, and share the museum’s history in ways that are engaging, professional, and publicly accessible. Will work primarily with the Engagement department, reporting to the Senior Engagement Officer.

Artist Legacy Coalition: Foundation-Based Internships 

Duration & Compensation 

  • Internship Duration: June 8 – Aug 7, 2026

  • Compensation: $24/hr.

  • Travel Stipend: $250

    Collaborate with the Communications Manager to promote the foundation's work and enhance its audience engagement.

    Assist the Regional Regranting Program Officer in expanding the program's impact on artist-led projects.

  • Assist with research and documentation related to Frankenthaler’s printmaking practice. 

  • Research, exhibitions, and collections documentation at a historic artist foundation. 

  • Under the direction of the Reading Room Manager, the intern will undertake an archival processing project focused on a discrete subseries of institutional records within the Roy Lichtenstein Foundation Archives.

  • Under the direction of the Executive Director, the intern will conduct focused research and a data management project supporting the Foundation’s development of a digital asset management system (DAMS) for artworks and image-based materials

  • Assist with the documentation, handling, and preparation of artworks, photographs, documents, and other archival materials related to the legacy of artist and activist Valerie J. Maynard.

New York CITY

  • Compensation: NYC - $24/hr.

  • Travel Stipend: $250 

  • Final Separate Inten Stipend: $900 program (given upon completion of program)  

  • Gain experience in arts administration and archival projects at a feminist art space. 

  • Work with Digital Asset Manager and Archivist to create metadata for digitized assets. 

  • Support production of cultural events, including First Saturdays. 

  • Support hands-on STEAM programming in ColorLab and Nature’s Engineers spaces. 

  • Plan public events and programs while learning how museums engage diverse communities. 

  • Support public art commissions and programming for Roberto Lugo’s exhibition.

  • Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising and development operations. 

  • Work closely with the Curatorial and Education teams to assist with program development and community engagement events. 

  • Supports the Noguchi Museum’s summer teen, family, youth, and public programs by conducting community research and outreach, and helping design engagement activities for Free First Fridays and Community Days.

  • Support socially engaged art and community-centered programs at The Shed, including Open Call and West Side Fest. 

  • Hands-on experience with a digital archive, website accessibility, and publications while learning about the Vera List Center’s events and diversity efforts since 1992.
